Mini Masterclasses for busy singers!
Opera Anywhere are pleased to announce that Quentin Hayes has agreed to lead a series of 6 mini masterclasses for solo singers, focusing on technique and interpretation at Bayworth Chapel, just 4 miles from Oxford. The plan is to make a small exclusive class that may vary from week to week, from just 3 singers but a maximum of 6 singers - dependent on the singers option to either book 2 or 1 x 30 minute one-to-one sessions. An accompanist will be provided and is inclusive in the cost detailed below.
The programme will be as follows:
10am to 10.30am: Group warm up and vocal exercises
10.30am to 11am: Singer 1 has 30 minute exclusive lesson
11am to 11.30am: Singer 2 etc
11.30am to 12noon: Singer 3 etc
12noon: 15 minute coffee break
12.15 to 12.45: Singer 1 has 30 minute exclusive lesson but alternatively if singers only want 30 minutes we could open this up to other singers
12.45 to 13.15: Singer 2 etc
13.15 to 13.45: Singer 3 etc.
We're initially trying it for a 6 week term, if successful we will consider an ongoing project. The dates have now been finalised and we currently have vacancies for singer participants on the following Saturdays: 22nd March, 29th March, 12th April, 26th April, 28th June and 5th July.
Course fees for the entire 6 week term will be £390 for singers choosing an hour each Saturday with the Tutor or £200 for singers choosing 30 minute sessions. Alternatively singers can book week by week, subject to availability for £75 for a 30 minute group session and 2 x 30 minute one to one.sessions or £40 each for a 30 minute group session and 1 x 30 minute one to one.
